DustBowl Affiliate Program terms
These rules explain who can join, what earns commission, and how payouts work. Contact us before sharing your link if anything is unclear.
Who can join
The program is available to affiliates in the United States with a verified DustBowl account. You must provide accurate information to Stripe and meet Stripe's recipient requirements. If you are under the legal age to manage a payout account, a parent or guardian must complete the Stripe setup when required.
How referrals are tracked
A valid referral visit lasts for 30 days. If a customer uses more than one valid referral link, the most recent link before verified signup receives credit. Self-referrals, prior paying customers, misleading claims, spam, paid search impersonation, and fraudulent traffic are not eligible.
Purchases that earn commission
Paid Hosted Memberships and private shared-host server rentals can earn commission on every settled recurring invoice. Commission is based on eligible invoice-line revenue after discounts and before tax. Dedicated hosting, moderator products, merchandise, setup fees, taxes, and unknown products do not earn commission.
Commission rate
You earn 10% on the first $1,000 of eligible revenue credited to you in each UTC service month, then 5% on eligible revenue above $1,000. Annual or multi-month charges are allocated across their service months.
30-day hold and adjustments
Commission stays pending for 30 days after an eligible payment settles. Credits, refunds, disputes, and chargebacks create matching adjustments. An adjustment can reduce available earnings or a later payout.
Stripe payouts
You may request a payout after at least $50 is available and your Stripe recipient account is ready. DustBowl reviews each request before sending funds to Stripe for deposit to your US bank account. Stripe controls onboarding, identity checks, bank collection, and its Express Dashboard. DustBowl never asks you to enter bank or identity-document details on this site.
Review and enforcement
DustBowl may hold, reject, or reverse activity during fraud, sanctions, payment, eligibility, or legal review. A shared household, device, or internet connection may prompt review but does not automatically disqualify a referral. Attempts to manipulate referrals or payouts can result in removal from the program.
Privacy
Your dashboard shows referral outcomes and earnings without revealing referred customers' identities. Authorized staff may use operational identifiers to reconcile payments, investigate abuse, and maintain required financial records.
Changes to these terms
DustBowl may update these terms as the program changes. New terms apply going forward unless law or payment-network rules require another treatment. Existing accounting records keep the policy version that applied when they were created.
Questions about a referral or payout? Send us a support ticket and include your DustBowl account email. Do not send bank details or identity documents to DustBowl. Stripe collects that information on its secure pages.
