Automatic Restarts
Regular restarts help prevent memory leaks and keep your server performing at its best.
Setting Up in AMP
- Go to your server in AMP
- Navigate to Scheduling
- Click New Schedule
- Set the trigger (e.g., daily at 4:00 AM)
- Add the action: Restart Instance
- Save
Tip: Schedule restarts during your server's lowest-activity period to minimize disruption.
Automatic Backups
Never lose your world or configuration again.
Setting Up Backups
- In AMP, go to Scheduling
- Create a new schedule (e.g., daily at 3:00 AM — before your restart)
- Add the action: Take Backup
- Save
Managing Backups
- Backups are stored in your server's backup directory
- You can download backups from the File Manager
- We recommend keeping at least 7 days of backups
- Old backups can be auto-deleted with a retention policy
Manual Backups
You can also take a backup at any time:
- Go to your server dashboard
- Click Backups (or the backup icon)
- Click Create Backup
