Satisfactory Server Port Forwarding
Satisfactory uses three ports. All three must be open for the server to be reachable and discoverable.
Required Ports
| Port | Protocol | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| 7777 | UDP + TCP | Primary game traffic — mandatory |
| 15000 | UDP | Beacon — server discovery |
| 15777 | UDP | Server query — server browser info |
Ports are set via launch arguments:
-Port=7777 -BeaconPort=15000 -ServerQueryPort=15777
UFW (Ubuntu/Debian)
sudo ufw allow 7777/udp
sudo ufw allow 7777/tcp
sudo ufw allow 15000/udp
sudo ufw allow 15777/udp
sudo ufw reload
sudo ufw status
firewalld (RHEL/CentOS/Fedora)
sudo firewall-cmd --permanent --add-port=7777/udp
sudo firewall-cmd --permanent --add-port=7777/tcp
sudo firewall-cmd --permanent --add-port=15000/udp
sudo firewall-cmd --permanent --add-port=15777/udp
sudo firewall-cmd --reload
iptables
sudo iptables -A INPUT -p udp --dport 7777 -j ACCEPT
sudo iptables -A INPUT -p tcp --dport 7777 -j ACCEPT
sudo iptables -A INPUT -p udp --dport 15000 -j ACCEPT
sudo iptables -A INPUT -p udp --dport 15777 -j ACCEPT
sudo iptables-save > /etc/iptables/rules.v4
Router / NAT Port Forwarding
If hosting on a home network, forward all required ports to your server's local IP:
| External Port | Internal Port | Protocol | Device IP |
|---|---|---|---|
| 7777 | 7777 | UDP | 192.168.x.x |
| 7777 | 7777 | TCP | 192.168.x.x |
| 15000 | 15000 | UDP | 192.168.x.x |
| 15777 | 15777 | UDP | 192.168.x.x |
Changing Default Ports
Pass custom ports via launch arguments:
./FactoryServer.sh -Port=7778 -BeaconPort=15001 -ServerQueryPort=15778 -log -unattended
Reminder: All port arguments must appear before
-log -unattendedor they will be silently ignored.
Running Multiple Instances
Each instance needs a unique set of ports:
# Instance 1
./FactoryServer.sh -Port=7777 -BeaconPort=15000 -ServerQueryPort=15777 -log -unattended
# Instance 2 (separate terminal / service)
./FactoryServer.sh -Port=7778 -BeaconPort=15001 -ServerQueryPort=15778 -log -unattended
