SCP: Secret Laboratory Remote Admin Panel

The Remote Admin (RA) panel is SCP:SL's primary admin interface. It is accessed in-game by players who have been granted admin permissions in config_remoteadmin.txt.

Granting Admin Access

Edit ~/.config/SCP Secret Laboratory/config/[PORT]/config_remoteadmin.txt:

Members:

Restart the server for the change to take effect.

Finding a SteamID64: Use steamid.io — paste the player's Steam profile URL to get their SteamID64.

Opening the RA Panel In-Game

1. Connect to the server as a player with admin access
2. Press M (default keybind) to open the Remote Admin panel
3. The RA panel appears as an overlay in the top-right of the screen

RA Panel Tabs

Players tab:

• Lists all connected players with their roles and SteamIDs
• Click a player to select them, then use action buttons: Kick, Ban, Warn, Mute, Spectate, Teleport

Commands tab:

• Free-form command input
• All console commands are available here

Logs tab:

• Real-time server event log visible to admins in-game

Common RA Commands

Commands entered in the RA panel's command input or the server console:

Commands typed directly in the LocalAdmin terminal window:

Permission Levels

SCP:SL has a hierarchical permission system:

Granular permissions (what each staff member can do) can be configured per-role for more control with the EXILED plugin framework.

Ban Duration Reference

Bans are specified in minutes:

• 60 = 1 hour
• 1440 = 1 day
• 10080 = 1 week
• 43200 = 30 days
• 0 = permanent ban

Bans are stored in:

~/.config/SCP Secret Laboratory/config/[PORT]/UserIdBans.txt
