How to Upload and Install Mods

Installing Mods on Your Server

Most games support mods or plugins. Here's how to get them onto your DustBowl.Games server.

Method 1: AMP File Manager (Easiest)

1. Log into your AMP panel
2. Navigate to File Manager
3. Browse to the appropriate mods directory:
   • Minecraft: /mods/ or /plugins/
   • CS2: /csgo/addons/
   • Source games: /addons/
4. Click Upload and select your mod files
5. Restart your server

Method 2: SFTP (For Large Uploads)

For large files or bulk uploads, SFTP is faster:

1. Download an SFTP client (we recommend WinSCP or FileZilla)
2. Your SFTP credentials are in the AMP panel under Configuration > SFTP
3. Connect and upload your files to the correct directory
4. Restart your server

Important Notes

• Always back up your server before installing mods
• Check mod compatibility with your game version
• Some mods require dependencies — read the mod's documentation
• If your server won't start after installing a mod, check the console for error messages
