ARK Engram Override Generator (ASE)

Per-engram customization for ARK: Survival Evolved using the numeric index system. Hide primitive tiers, lower EP costs, change level requirements, or remove prerequisites — then copy the Game.ini block straight to your server.

Using ARK: Survival Ascended? ASA uses named engram entries instead of numeric indices. Use the ASA Level & Engram Generator for that.

Global Options

Auto Unlock All Engrams

bAutoUnlockAllEngrams=True — players learn every engram automatically as they level. Overrides per-engram overrides.

Only Allow Specified Engrams

bOnlyAllowSpecifiedEngrams=True — whitelist mode: only engrams listed below are learnable.

How OverrideEngramEntries Works

Each line overrides the properties of one engram identified by its numeric index:

OverrideEngramEntries=(EngramIndex=0,EngramHidden=True,EngramPointsCost=3,EngramLevelRequirement=1,RemoveEngramPreReq=False)

EngramHidden

Hides the engram from the crafting UI entirely. Players cannot learn or see it.

EngramPointsCost

Overrides the EP cost to learn the engram. Set to 0 for free engrams.

EngramLevelRequirement

Overrides the minimum player level required to unlock the engram.

RemoveEngramPreReq

When True, removes the prerequisite engram chain — you can learn it without unlocking earlier tiers first.

Global shortcuts (Game.ini, same section)

bAutoUnlockAllEngrams=True — all engrams auto-unlock as players level up. Fastest way to give everyone everything.

bOnlyAllowSpecifiedEngrams=True — whitelist mode: only explicitly listed engrams (with Hidden=False) are learnable.
