How the Formula Works
Delta = BP armor − default engram armor
Max armor = BP armor + (Delta × crafting skill bonus)
Roll range = BP armor → Max armor (random uniform)
Crafting Skill in ARK directly scales how far above a blueprint's base value you can craft. Each point into the Crafting Skill stat adds +10% of base, so 100 points = 1000% bonus. The bonus applies to the delta between your BP and the default engram — not the full armor value.
The result is a random roll between the BP's printed armor (minimum) and the max armor your skill unlocks. Higher skill raises the ceiling but doesn't guarantee you'll hit it.
