Arma Reforger Mod List Builder

Generate the "mods" JSON array for your Arma Reforger config.json. Each mod requires a Workshop GUID, display name, and exact version string. Use quick-add buttons for popular mods, then copy the output straight into your server config.

⚠

Use the Workshop GUID (16-char hex), not the mod name. Wrong IDs silently break the server — players connect but mods don't load and no error is logged.

Quick-Add Popular Mods

Duplicates (by modId) are skipped automatically. Version defaults to 0.9.9999 — update it to match the Workshop version.

Mod List (0)

No mods added yet. Use Quick-Add above or click "+ Add Mod".

modsRequiredByDefault

When true, all listed mods are mandatory — clients without them are kicked. When false, mods are optional and clients can connect without them.

Fix these issues before copying:

  • Add at least one mod.

Generated JSON Block

Paste this into the "game" section of your config.json.

// Add at least one valid mod to see the output.

config.json Placement

The mods array sits inside the "game" object. A minimal example:

{
  "game": {
    "name": "My Reforger Server",
    "password": "",
    "scenarioId": "{ECC61978EDCC2B5A}Missions/23_Campaign.conf",
    "mods": [
      { "modId": "5965BB7F4C9B0E72", "name": "ACE Reforger", "version": "1.0.0" }
    ],
    "modsRequiredByDefault": true
  }
}

The version field must match the exact version string published on the Workshop — mismatches cause the server to reject the mod silently.

How to Find Mod GUIDs and Versions

  1. 1

    Open the mod's page on the Arma Reforger Workshop in your browser.

  2. 2

    The GUID appears in the page URL and on the mod detail panel as a 16-character hex string (e.g. 5965BB7F4C9B0E72).

  3. 3

    The version string is shown on the Workshop page under Version. Copy it exactly — Reforger is case-sensitive.

  4. 4

    Paste the GUID and version into the builder above, copy the JSON block, and paste it into your config.json.

  5. 5

    Restart the server. Check the server log for [ModManager] lines — any rejected mod will appear there with the reason.
