Arma Reforger RCON Command Reference
Complete searchable reference for all Arma Reforger RCON admin commands — syntax, permission levels, and a ready-to-use config.json RCON block. Default RCON port: 19999.
Arma Reforger uses BattlEye RCON — not Source Engine RCON
Standard RCON clients (like RCON Console or BEC) work, but must be configured for the BE RCON protocol.
Source Engine RCON clients will not connect. Connect to the RCON port (default 19999) with your admin password set in config.json.

Quick Reference Notes
Logging In
Connect your RCON client to your server IP on port 19999 (or whichever port you configured). Authenticate with the password from the "rcon" block in your config.json. Use the #login <password> command to start your session.
Common RCON Clients
Any BattlEye RCON-compatible client works with Arma Reforger:
- BEC — BattlEye Commander, widely used for scheduling + RCON
- RCON Console — lightweight CLI client
- ARC (Arma RCON Client) — GUI client with live player management
Player IDs vs. Player Names
Most commands that target a player (#kick, #ban, #whisper) use the numeric playerID shown by #players — not the player's display name. Always run #players first to find the correct ID.
Ban Duration
The #ban command's <duration> parameter is in seconds. Use 0 for a permanent ban. Example: #ban 3 3600 Griefing bans player ID 3 for one hour with reason "Griefing".
