# Server Rules — This Server [Semi-Serious Milsim]

**General Conduct**
• Microphone: required for Squad Leaders and above.
• English is required in all in-game communications.
• Griefing, harassment, and deliberate disruption of friendly players is prohibited.
• Admin decisions are final. Do not argue with admins during an active session — use Discord for appeals.

**MOB (Main Operating Base) Protection**
• Do not attack enemy players who are inside their Main Operating Base (MOB) or designated spawn area.
• No spawn camping. Allow players to move away from their MOB before engaging them.

**Supply Griefing Ban**
• Do not destroy friendly supply depots, ammo crates, or forward operating bases.
• Do not intentionally destroy friendly vehicles, logistics trucks, or helicopters.
• Do not intentionally dump or waste supplies to deny them to teammates.
• Supply griefing undermines your own team and is treated as a serious offence.

**Faction Balance**
• Players must switch factions if requested by an admin for the purpose of team balance. Refusing is a kickable offence.

**Zeus / Game Master Policy**
• Zeus and Game Master tools must not be used to spawn personal loot, weapons, ammunition, or vehicles for individual benefit.
• GM mode must not be used to gain tactical or intelligence advantages during live play (e.g. observing enemy positions).
• Abuse of GM tools is a bannable offence regardless of rank or role.

**Vehicle Claim Rules**
• Squads claiming a vehicle must announce it in squad or side chat (e.g. "[SQD1] claiming the BTR at grid 123-456"). Unclaimed vehicles may be used by others after 10 minutes.
• Do not hoard multiple vehicles without actively using them. Vehicles are a shared resource.

**Squad Leader Mic Requirement**
• Squad Leaders and all command-level roles must have a working microphone. If your mic is broken, step down from the SL role.
• SLs must actively communicate orders and situation reports via voice. Text-only leadership is insufficient.

**Radio Discipline**
• Keep command and long-range channels clear during active operations. Idle chatter, jokes, and off-topic conversation belong in side-chat or Discord.
• Keep contact reports concise: WHO, WHERE (grid/landmark), WHAT, and DOING. Brevity codes are preferred.
• Music, soundboards, and non-tactical audio are forbidden on all in-game radio channels.

**Friendly Fire Policy**
• Friendly fire is handled on an escalating basis: first offence results in a warning, second in a temporary kick, repeated offences in a permanent ban.
• Accidental friendly fire happens — always apologise immediately. Repeated accidents will be investigated.
• Using friendly fire as a tool for griefing, revenge, or trolling will result in an immediate permanent ban.

**Respawn Timer Respect**
• After being eliminated, wait at least 3 minutes before rejoining the same engagement. This simulates realistic casualty management and prevents infinite waves.
• Do not spawn at a position directly adjacent to an active firefight. Use a rear rally point or base spawn and move up.

**Operation Attendance & Briefing**
• Players must be ready and in-game at least 15 minutes before the scheduled operation start time.
• Briefing attendance is mandatory. Do not spawn into the AO before the briefing has concluded.

**Role Restrictions**
• A maximum of one specialist role (anti-tank, sniper, designated marksman, combat medic) is permitted per squad unless explicitly authorised by the GM.
