How Arma 3 mod paths work
- Folder mode: paths are relative to the server executable directory.
@CBA_A3means a folder called@CBA_A3next to the EXE. - Workshop mode (no path): outputs
@ID— works when you've created symlinks or copied the mod folders next to the EXE. - Workshop mode (with path): outputs absolute paths pointing directly into the Steam Workshop cache — no symlinks needed.
- Mods are separated by semicolons (
;) with no spaces. - Use
-serverMod=for mods the server needs but clients don't (e.g. TFAR dedicated DLL, admin tools).
