Important: Seeds are permanent

A world seed cannot be changed once the world is created. To use a different seed you must create a new World ID. Plan ahead before starting your server.

Seed Format Explained

Text Seed

-worldseed "mytext"

Human-readable. Any string of characters. Easy to remember and share.

Hashed Seed

-hashedworldseed 505923155427

Unsigned 32-bit integer (0–4294967295). Use 0 for a random seed on each new world creation.

World Generation Options

These settings combine with your seed to shape the world. Set via server launch arguments or world creation UI.
