HLDS Setup Reference

mapcycle.txt Server rotates through maps in this file in order. HLDS reads it fresh each map change. Place in cstrike/.

maplist.txt Map list used by AMX Mod X vote commands and other plugins. Same format as mapcycle.txt.

mp_mapcyclefile CVAR pointing to the cycle file — default is mapcycle.txt. Set in server.cfg to use a different filename.
