CS 1.6 Player Config Generator

Generate a complete userconfig.cfg / autoexec.cfg for CS 1.6 — GoldSrc engine settings including net config, mouse, crosshair, FPS, and HUD.

GoldSrc vs. Source Engine

CS 1.6 uses ex_interp (GoldSrc), not cl_interp_ratio (Source). These are completely different CVARs. Using Source engine values in CS 1.6 will have no effect or cause unexpected behavior.

Quick Presets

Net Settings

25000

Max bandwidth (bytes/sec). 56k: 9999 · Cable: 25000 · Fiber: 100000

0.010

GoldSrc interpolation — 0.01 for fast connections, 0.05+ for slower ones

101

Packets sent to server per second. 101 is standard for broadband.

101

Packets requested from server per second. Match cmdrate for consistency.

Mouse

2.5

Mouse sensitivity multiplier. Pro players typically use 1.0–3.5.

0.0220

Yaw angle per mouse unit. Default 0.022. Some players prefer 0.0165.

0

Mouse smoothing. Most players disable this for precise aim.

1

GoldSrc raw input support. Requires mouse acceleration disabled in Windows for best results.

0

Custom mouse acceleration. Competitive players always set this to 0.

Crosshair
