DayZ cfgGameplay.json Builder

Generate a complete cfggameplay.json to override stamina mechanics, monthly temperature ranges, night brightness, and base building collision rules.

⚠️ Requires enableCfgGameplayFile = 1; in your serverDZ.cfg before this file takes effect.

Quick Presets

Stamina

staminaMax 100

Maximum stamina pool (default 100.0). Higher = more endurance.

staminaMinCap 5.0

Minimum stamina floor (default 5.0). Set higher to prevent full exhaustion.

staminaWeightLimitThreshold 6000 g

Carry weight (g) before stamina penalty kicks in (default 6000 g).

staminaKgToStaminaPercentPenalty 1.75

% stamina lost per kg over the threshold (default 1.75). Higher = heavier penalty for overloading.

Monthly Temperature Ranges (°C)

Set minimum and maximum air temperature for each month. Chernarus vanilla defaults shown.

Night Lighting

lightingConfig — controls nighttime ambient brightness on the server.

Base Building Collision Checks

Enable flags to disable the corresponding placement check. All checks are enabled (false) by default — vanilla DayZ is strict. Toggle flags on to relax placement rules.

Disable BBox Collision

Skip bounding-box overlap check when placing objects.

Disable Player Collision

Allow placement even when a player is standing in the way.

Disable Height Check

Ignore height limits — enables building on uneven terrain.

Disable Terrain Check

Allow placement that intersects or clips terrain geometry.

Disable Underwater Check

Permit building underwater or in flooded areas.

Disable Angle Check

Remove slope/angle restrictions for surface placement.
