}'How to use Discord webhooks
A Discord webhook is a special URL that lets you POST messages into a channel without a bot token. To create one:
- Open Discord and go to the channel you want to post in
- Click the gear icon next to the channel name → Integrations
- Click Webhooks → New Webhook
- Give it a name and copy the Webhook URL
- Paste that URL into the
YOUR_WEBHOOK_URLplaceholder in the curl command above - Run the curl command or POST the JSON with any HTTP client
The color field in the JSON is an integer (not hex). This tool converts your chosen color automatically.
Fields with "inline": true are displayed side-by-side in Discord, up to three per row. Non-inline fields span the full embed width.
