Reading the stats
Hunger
Max hunger determines how long you can go without eating. Higher max = more buffer time. Drain rate (default 75/day) determines how fast it empties — Wolfgang hungry and Wes drain faster.
Health
Max HP. Maxwell starts at 75 — very fragile. Wigfrid and Wolfgang (mighty) cap at 200. Wanda's health is tied to age and counts down each day.
Sanity
Drops in darkness, near monsters, and at low health. Below 30% you start seeing shadows. Wickerbottom tops out at 250; Webber and Wigfrid start low at 100/120.
