How the Crock Pot works

Tags & values

Each ingredient carries hidden food-group tags (Meat, Veggie, Fish, Egg, Fruit, Sweetener, Dairy, Monster). Most full items have a value of 1.0; smaller items like Morsels or Berries have 0.5. Tag totals across all 4 slots must meet or exceed a recipe's minimum threshold.

Priority & conflicts

When multiple recipes match, the Crock Pot cooks the one with the highest priority number. Fillers (Twigs, Ice) contribute no useful tags but satisfy the 4-slot requirement — and many recipes explicitly forbid Twigs or Inedible items.
