Empyrion gameoptions.yaml Builder
gameoptions.yaml is separate from dedicated.yaml and controls in-game difficulty, drone behaviour, anti-grief zones, CPU point limits, decay timers, and PvP rules. It is frequently confused with the server config — make sure you edit the right file.
File location: Content/Scenarios/[YourScenario]/Content/Configuration/gameoptions.yaml (or the default scenario path).
Delete the game cache after every edit
Empyrion caches game options on first load. If you edit gameoptions.yaml without deleting the cache, your changes will be silently ignored until the next full wipe. Delete the Cache folder in your save directory after every edit.

Place gameoptions.yaml in your scenario's Content/Configuration/ folder.
After saving, delete the Cache folder in your save directory or changes will be ignored.
