Using RCON vs In-Game Console
The in-game console (press ~) accepts all /command and /c lua forms.
RCON sends the same text over TCP — the server interprets it identically. Connect via mcrcon, factorio-rcon-cli, or any RCON client on the port you configured with --rcon-port and --rcon-password.
Lua commands via /c execute in the game context. Use game.player for RCON access (refers to server console, not a player character).
