FiveM Server Startup Script Generator
Generate a Windows .bat or Linux .sh startup script for FiveM's FXServer. Configure your paths, license key, and options — then copy the script straight to your server.
Configuration
Directory containing FXServer.exe (the artifact folder you downloaded).
Get your key at keymaster.fivem.net. If left blank, a placeholder is used.
Default: 40120. Access txAdmin at http://your-ip:40120 after starting.
Auto-restart loop
Restart the server automatically if it crashes or exits.
start.bat
@echo off title FiveM Server :start "C:\FXServer\artifact\FXServer.exe" +set citizen_dir "C:\FXServer\artifact\citizen\" +exec "C:\FXServer\server-data\server.cfg" +set sv_licenseKey YOUR_LICENSE_KEY_HERE +set txAdminPort 40120 echo Server exited. Restarting in 10 seconds... timeout /t 10 /nobreak goto start
Notes & Tips
- •FiveM artifacts are downloaded from
runtime.fivem.net/artifacts/fivem/— always use the latest recommended build for your platform. - •On Windows, run the
.batas Administrator if FXServer fails to bind ports below 1024. - •On Linux, consider running the script inside a
screenortmuxsession so it persists after SSH disconnect. - •Never share your license key publicly — it is tied to your FiveM account and can be revoked if abused.
- •txAdmin is bundled in FXServer artifacts — no separate installation needed. Access it in a browser after the server starts.
Run your own FiveM server.
Rent a private FiveM server on real hardware — full control-panel access, your mods, your configs, your rules. It's your server; run it your way.
Don't want to run it yourself? Our managed services & consulting team will set it up and keep it running for you — game servers, Windows, Linux, and cloud, from 10+ years of MSP work.
