My DarkRP Server — Server Rules
=================================

GENERAL RULES
1. No cheating, hacking, or exploiting bugs.
2. No harassment, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind.
3. Respect all staff members and follow their instructions.
4. No advertising other servers.
5. English only in OOC chat.

NLR — NEW LIFE RULE
1. When you die, your new life begins immediately.
2. You must wait 3 minutes before returning to the area where you died.
3. You cannot remember anything from your previous life (people who killed you, events, etc.).
4. Do not return to your own base if you were killed during a raid.

RDM — RANDOM DEATHMATCH
1. RDM is killing another player without a valid roleplay reason.
2. Accidental kills are not RDM but must be reported to staff immediately.
3. Valid kill reasons include: active raid, mugging, self-defense, or a valid hit.
4. Kills must be advertised with /advert where applicable.

RDA — RANDOM ARREST
1. Police may not arrest players without a valid warrant or personally witnessing a crime.
2. Warranting players without cause is RDA.
3. Bail/fines must match the current laws set by the Mayor.
4. Unarrest sticks are for staff only unless otherwise stated by Mayor.

PROP RULES
1. No prop surf, prop push, or prop kill under any circumstances.
2. No prop spam — limit your prop count to what is needed for your base.
3. Props must not block NPC paths, spawn points, or public doorways.
4. Floating props and skybase props are not permitted.

FEARRP
1. You must comply with demands when a weapon is pointed at you at close range.
2. If you are outnumbered 2:1 or more, you must comply.
3. Running, pulling a weapon, or using a phone while under FearRP is not allowed.

METAGAMING
1. Do not use information gathered outside of roleplay (Discord, OOC, etc.) to benefit your character.
2. Do not reveal players' locations via OOC chat.
3. Knowing a player's job from their player model alone counts as metagaming.

RAIDING RULES
1. You must /advert Raid before initiating any raid.
2. You must /advert Raid Over when the raid is complete.
3. Raid cooldown: 30 minutes per base, 20 minutes per counter-raid.
4. Raids may not last longer than 10 minutes.
5. You may not raid the same base twice within the cooldown period.
6. Cop raids must be performed by police with a valid warrant.

BASING RULES
1. KOS (Kill on Sight) signs must be clearly visible at the base entrance.
2. You may not KOS players who are outside your KOS zone.
3. Bases may not block public access to streets, alleys, or spawn areas.
4. Maximum of 1 one-way prop per base entrance.
5. Mega bases (claiming multiple buildings) require staff approval.

BUILDING RULES
1. If you are building, place a visible BUILDING sign at your entrance.
2. Players in building mode may not be raided or KOS'd.
3. You may not shoot from a building base (remove BUILDING sign first).
4. Remove your BUILDING sign once your base is complete.

POLICE / MAYOR RULES
1. Police must enforce the laws set by the Mayor.
2. The Mayor may not create laws that make being a citizen impossible (e.g. no walking).
3. Police may not base with criminals.
4. The President/Mayor may not leave the PD during an active lockdown.

HITMAN RULES
1. Hitmen must /advert Hit Accepted and /advert Hit Complete for every contract.
2. Hitmen may not place hits on themselves or their allies.
3. Hitmen may not raid.
4. Hits on government officials are only valid if the server allows it.

GUN DEALER RULES
1. Gun dealers must have a shop — selling from anywhere is not allowed.
2. Gun dealers may not base with raiders.
3. Gun dealers must sell to all players; refusing sales requires a valid RP reason.
4. Illegal weapons dealers must follow the same rules and keep their shop hidden.
