Icarus Mod Installation Checklist

Icarus has no Steam Workshop support. All mods are manual .pak file installs sourced from Nexus Mods. Every connecting player must have the identical mod files locally — or they cannot join the server.

Conflicting .pak files cannot coexist without merging

Multiple unmerged .pak files in the mods folder will cause client/server desync and connection failures. If you run more than one mod, use Icarus Mod Manager (IMM) to merge them into a single .pak before distributing.

Installation Type

Single Mod Installation

Download mod .pak file from Nexus Mods (nexusmods.com/games/icarus) Place .pak in server: Icarus\Content\Paks\mods\ (create mods\ folder if it doesn't exist) Place the same .pak in each player's client Icarus installation at the same path Verify all .pak files have identical filenames and file sizes Restart the server Have all players restart their game client before connecting
