Minecraft MOTD Generator
Your server's MOTD (Message of the Day) is the short tagline shown in the Minecraft multiplayer server list.
Use the controls below to build a colorful, formatted MOTD with a live preview — then copy the result straight into your server.properties file.

How it works
Minecraft uses the section sign (§) followed by a single character as a formatting code.
Color codes use the hex digits 0–9 and a–f, while formatting codes use
l (bold), o (italic), n (underline),
m (strikethrough), k (obfuscated), and r (reset).
For a Java Edition server, open server.properties and set motd= to the raw output above.
To get a two-line MOTD, include a literal \n where you want the line break.
In JSON-based configs (datapacks, resource packs, Bedrock add-ons) the section sign often needs to be escaped as
\u00A7 instead of pasting § directly. If your MOTD looks like it has stray characters, try that escape.
