Minecraft Server Status Checker
Check if any public Minecraft server is online. Works for Java Edition and Bedrock Edition.
How it works
This tool queries the public mcsrvstat.us API to ping the server and read its status response. The API is free, requires no signup, and respects rate limits for you.
Java Edition servers are queried via api.mcsrvstat.us/3/{address}. Bedrock Edition servers use api.mcsrvstat.us/bedrock/3/{address}.
You can include a custom port (e.g. play.example.com:25566). If you don't, the default port for the selected edition is used (25565 for Java, 19132 for Bedrock).
We display the MOTD (message of the day), current and max player counts, version string, latency, and server icon if one is broadcast. Nothing is stored on our side.
Run your own Minecraft server.
Rent a private Minecraft server on real hardware — full control-panel access, your mods, your configs, your rules. It's your server; run it your way.
Don't want to run it yourself? Our managed services & consulting team will set it up and keep it running for you — game servers, Windows, Linux, and cloud, from 10+ years of MSP work.
