# Base Building Policy **Server Settings:** BaseCampMaxNum=128 | BaseCampMaxNumInGuild=4 | GuildPlayerMaxNum=20 ## 1. Size Limits - Max base footprint: **40×40 foundations** (BaseCampMaxNumInGuild: 4 bases per guild) - Max wall height: **10 walls** - Mining outposts: max **10×10×3** - Pal workers per base: up to **15** (BaseCampWorkerMaxNum) ## 2. Environmental Griefing The following are prohibited: - Blocking skill fruit trees or their access paths - Enclosing or blocking Alpha Pal spawn areas - Building near or over dungeon/dungeon-rift entrances - Blocking boss arena approach or exit paths - Fencing or enclosing fast-travel statues (Effigies) - Blocking shared loot chests or cave routes ## 3. Resource Node Enclosure - Maximum **4 rare resource nodes** enclosed per guild - Rare nodes: sulphur deposits, coal veins, and pure quartz outcroppings - Enclosed common nodes (ore, stone, wood) do not count toward this limit - Nodes inside your base must remain mineable by the guild ## 4. Render Distance Rule - Minimum **15 meters** between guild base boundaries - This prevents overlapping rendering zones and associated lag spikes - Admins may request base relocation if spacing is not met ## 5. Ownership Marking - Place a **sign** at your base entrance with your guild name - Unmarked bases may be removed by admins after 48 hours' notice - Mining outposts must also be labeled with guild name and base number ## 6. Performance Awareness - Excessive structures cause server-wide lag for all players - Admins may remove extreme builds without prior warning if they impact server stability - Each base worker Pal (max 15 per base) contributes to server entity load - If your base causes consistent lag reports, expect an admin review
