How Passive Inheritance Works
- • Each offspring gets up to 4 passive skill slots.
- • Inherited from parents: 1 skill = 40% chance, 2 skills = 30%, 3 skills = 20%, 4 skills = 100% (if both parents have 4 total unique).
- • Empty slots are filled from the global random pool — potentially adding unwanted skills.
- • Optimal setup: Both parents combined have exactly your 4 target skills and no extras. ~10% per egg for a perfect result.

Chain Breeding Plan
For 4 desired skills, the most efficient approach is to combine skills in pairs across breeding steps.
Step 1 — Create Two Intermediates
Breed Parent A (Skills 1+2) × Parent B (Skills 3+4) → Intermediate with 2 skills (~40% per egg).
Do this twice to get two intermediates, each carrying 2 of your target skills.
Step 2 — Final Combine
Breed Intermediate 1 (Skills 1+2) × Intermediate 2 (Skills 3+4) → Perfect offspring with all 4 skills (~10% per egg).
Total Expected Eggs
~2 eggs per intermediate step + ~10 eggs for final combine = ~14 eggs total on average for optimal 4-skill setup.
Note: Random pool skills can still appear in any empty offspring slot. Zero-extra-passive is never guaranteed — it's a 10% shot each egg at optimal parent setup.
