Satisfactory Train Throughput Calculator
Use the official Satisfactory wiki formula to calculate your train's actual throughput. Measure the round-trip time in-game with a stopwatch, then enter your belt speed and stack size to see items/min and identify your bottleneck.

Bottleneck
Train Freq.
Case A: TtF ≥ RtD
Time to Fill (TtF): (200 × 32 / 480) + 0.4513 = 13.7846 min
Round-Trip (RtD): 10 min
Case: A (TtF ≥ RtD) → Throughput = (RtD - 0.4513) / RtD × BeltSpeed
What This Means
Your train frequency is the bottleneck (Case A).
The train cannot fill/unload fast enough relative to travel time. To improve throughput: reduce route distance, add a second train on the same route, or increase belt speed. Adding more freight cars helps most.
