NPC Taming Step-by-Step

    Find a wild NPC tribesman out in the world
  2. 2
    Reduce NPC HP to below 20% — use fists or blunt weapons to avoid killing them
  3. 3
    Deter the NPC: use the Deter action when they are weakened
  4. 4
    Apply a Bandage to stabilize the NPC before they bleed out
  5. 5
    Carry the unconscious NPC back to your base
  6. 6
    Place the NPC in a Bed or sleeping spot inside your base
  7. 7
    Feed the selected Liquid Food repeatedly (check recognition in NPC panel)
  8. 8
    Recruit the NPC once recognition reaches 500 — they join your tribe!

    Assign a role and equip gear to put them to work
