SS13 Whitelist & Staff Application Builder

Tips for a Strong Application

• • Read the specific forum thread template for your server — servers often have their own required format that overrides generic templates.
• • Longer is not always better. Answer each question thoroughly but don't pad with filler — admins read many applications.
• • Disclose prior bans honestly. Admins can check. Lying about a ban history is often an instant rejection.
• • For CM-SS13 command, play the lower ranks first — don't apply for Captain without extensive Squad Leader experience.
• • For HRP character whitelists, make your character feel grounded and flawed. Perfect hero characters are red flags.
• • For mentor apps, give concrete examples — vague answers like 'I like helping people' carry less weight than a specific story.
• • Check the minimum hours requirement before applying. Most servers reject early applications for under-hourcount applicants.
