TS3 ts3server.ini Config Generator

Build a complete ts3server.ini with every known parameter explained in plain English. Adjust the fields below, then copy the generated file to your server.

Note: Virtual server settings (name, max clients, password, codec quality) are not set here — configure them via ServerQuery or the TS3 client admin panel after first boot.

Network

Voice port (UDP)

default_voice_port — clients connect here. Default: 9987

Voice bind IP

voice_ip — 0.0.0.0 binds all interfaces.

ServerQuery port (TCP)

query_port — telnet/admin access. Default: 10011

ServerQuery bind IP

File transfer port (TCP)

filetransfer_port — avatars & icons. Default: 30033

Database

Database plugin

SQLite is fine for most servers. Use MariaDB for high-traffic setups.

SQL files path

dbsqlpath — relative to server binary. Default: sql/

DB create scripts path

DB connection pool size

dbconnections — concurrent DB connections. Default: 10

Logging

Log path

logpath — directory for log files. Default: logs/

Log ServerQuery commands (logquerycommands)

WARNING: Only enable temporarily for debugging — creates very large log files.

Append to logs on restart (logappend)

Unchecked = logs overwritten on each server start (default).

Keep inactive client records (days)

dbclientkeepdays — purge clients not seen in N days. Default: 90

Keep DB log entries (days)

dblogkeepdays — purge DB log entries older than N days. Default: 90

Security & Startup

ServerQuery IP whitelist file

query_ip_whitelist — one IP per line; bypasses rate-limit checks.

ServerQuery IP blacklist file

License file path (optional)

licensepath — leave blank when using the free 32-slot license.

Machine ID (optional)

machine_id — leave blank unless your license requires binding to a machine.

UDP processing threads (1–30)

threads_voice_udp — increase for high-traffic servers. Default: 30

Clear database on start (clear_database)

DESTRUCTIVE — wipes the entire database on every server start. Only for fresh installs.
