Whitelist Tips

•VS 1.20+ ships with whitelist support — set WhitelistMode=2 in your server config to enable allowlist-only access.
•Require the VS account name (not display name) — it's what appears in server logs and is used for /whitelist add.
•Use Discord forum channels with Pending / Approved / Denied tags for clean application tracking at scale.
•The Discord Whitelist Manager mod (vintagestory.at/forums) can auto-whitelist players when a moderator reacts to their application.
