ATLAS Vitamin & Food Balance Guide

ATLAS tracks four separate vitamins (A, B, C, and D). Each has its own deficiency debuff, and keeping all four within 20% of each other grants the powerful Equilibrium buff.

Equilibrium Buff

When all four vitamin levels are within 20% of each other, you gain the Equilibrium buff:

Deficiency Debuff Reference

Vitamin Debuff Impact
A
Vitamin A
+20% damage taken You take significantly more damage from all sources — dangerous in combat or PvP.
B
Vitamin B
-20% stamina recovery Stamina regenerates slower — makes sailing, swimming, and combat much more draining.
C
Vitamin C
-30 fortitude Fortitude loss makes you far more vulnerable to temperature extremes and torpor.
D
Vitamin D
-20% movement speed Movement speed reduction affects running, swimming, and mounted travel.

Balance Strategy

1.

Check your vitamin bars regularly — deficiencies appear gradually, so you usually have time to correct before the debuff hits hard.

2.

Sailors should carry mixed food — a mix of fish (Vit D), meat (Vit B), berries (Vit C), and vegetables (Vit A) covers all categories.

3.

Vitamin D is the hardest to maintain inland. Plan fishing trips or bring preserved fish when crossing land-heavy grids.

4.

Note: Exact vitamin point values per food require in-game testing — this guide shows categories and debuff thresholds, not per-item numbers.
