How to Connect to Your Palworld Server
Two ways to join your Palworld dedicated server: paste the IP directly into the join screen, or search by server name in the in-game browser. Covers where to find your IP and what to do if it doesn't connect.

Method 1: Direct IP Connect (Recommended)
- Log into your AMP or WISP panel and grab your server's IP and port from the dashboard (e.g.
123.45.67.89:8211) - Launch Palworld
- From the main menu, select Join Multiplayer Game
- Enter the IP:port in the join address field and hit Connect
If a server password is set, Palworld will prompt you for it after the initial handshake.
Method 2: Search by Server Name
- From the Palworld main menu, select Join Multiplayer Game
- Search for your server's name using the filter bar
- Select your server from the list and click Connect
Your server must be set to Public for it to show up in the community list. See How to Make Your Palworld Server Public.
Finding Your Server IP
Your server's connection IP is shown in the control panel. There are typically two addresses:
- Game port — the primary connection address used in-game (default port: 8211)
- RCON port — a separate port used only for RCON admin tools (see Palworld RCON)
Always use the game port address when connecting in-game.
Troubleshooting
If you can't connect after following these steps, see Palworld Common Connection Issues for a full troubleshooting guide.
Quick checks:
- Is the server online in your panel?
- Are you using the correct IP and port?
- Is the server still starting up? New servers can take 2–3 minutes on first boot.
