How to Make Your Palworld Server Public

List your Palworld dedicated server in the in-game community browser by enabling the Public Server setting. Takes a few hours to appear — what to expect and how to verify it's working.

How to Enable Public Listing

In your AMP or WISP panel, open your Palworld server's Configuration settings:

  1. Find the Public Server setting
  2. Enable it
  3. Save and reboot

How Long Does It Take?

It can take several hours before the community browser recognises your server after making this change.

This delay is on Palworld's side — the game's server list refreshes infrequently. Be patient; your server will appear once the community browser picks it up.

While waiting, you and your players can still connect directly via IP — see How to Connect to Your Palworld Server.

Verify It's Working

Once enough time has passed, launch Palworld and go to Join Multiplayer Game. Search for your server's name in the search bar. If it appears, the public listing is active.

If it doesn't appear after several hours:

  • Confirm the Public Server setting is saved and the server has been rebooted
  • Check that your server name is set in the settings (an empty server name may prevent listing)
  • Make sure your server is actually online and reachable

Should You Make It Public?

Public Private (Direct IP only)
Anyone can find and join Only players who know the IP can connect
Great for growing a community Better for friend groups and whitelisted servers
Consider setting a server password to control who joins No extra configuration needed
